If you would like to have a go at writing an article to appear on the FAS website, it would be great to receive one from you. We will gladly consider any articles that you would like to be listed on this page: on any type of fishing and for any species – providing that they are based on FAS fisheries.
Your subject can be on any type of fishing, whether it be species based or method based, i.e. float fishing with the waggler, stick: leger fishing based on quivertip, swingtip, feeder fishing, method fishing; predator fishing; pole fishing; any variation or surface fishing whether it be for fly fishing for Rudd, Chub, Carp or lure fishing for Pike or even those mini-species that are seldom seen like Stone Loach and Bullheads aka Millers Thumb. It’s completely up to You.
The article can range in length, whether it is just a couple of paragraphs with a single photo or a full write up of 3,000 words accompanied by half a dozen photographs. Whatever you wish to submit.
It would be great to feature some information from pleasure and match anglers to complement those items that we already have on Carp, Rudd and Tench, though of course we would still like to receive more of those as well !
Your feature does not have to be educational in terms of relaying new fishing techniques or baits or heavily referenced to tackle companies as promotional features, they can simply relay a days fishing that was memorable to you – such as a your first fish of a particular species or a new personal best or simply a really enjoyable day for whatever reason.
It’s all about You telling Us
Please send your article to us and we will consider it for use on the website and/or within a future newsletter.
You can submit entries using the Submit Articles form and must be submitted
by 14th January each year.
(Not forgetting to enclose the photographs that you wish to submit)
We look forward to hearing about your experience on Farnham Angling Society waters.
