Tench typically 1-6lb & up to 9lbs 4oz Roach to 1lb 8oz + Crucian Carp to 1lb 4oz + Perch |
FAS plan to enhance this 1.8 acre water in the coming years to try to restore the fishery to somewhere near what it was in its heyday, when big Tench and quality Crucians were present.
This beautiful pool now contains plenty of Tench between 1-3lb and up to 9lb 4oz, Roach to 1lb 8oz and Crucian Carp to 11lb +, plus Rudd, Perch and a few Bream.
The existing stock was added to in early 2013 with Tench, Crucians & Roach, more of which will be added in early 2014.
A lovely fishery where stealth and cunning may enable you to still find a specimen Crucian or catch some Tench.

Just off Sandhurst Road, Yateley, Hampshire
From the M3, exit the M3 at Junction 4a, signposted, Farnborough. Bear left, following the signs toward Yateley / Reading. Proceed straight on for approximately two miles passing the Royal Engineers Gibraltar Barracks and shortly after the barracks turn right at the roundabout and go straight across at the next roundabout. Follow the road for approximately one mile through Cricket Hill into Yateley itself. Turn left at the roundabout at the end of the road on to the B3272 and, after 100 metres, turn right into Sandhurst Road.
Drive past Weybridge Mead on your left for 200m and on your right you will see the entrance to the East Complex, leading to Summer Pit, the River Blackwater, Match Lake, Copse Lake Nursery Lake.
Summer Pit is off the northern end of the Car Park just behind the toilets.
Please take particular care when entering and leaving the East Complex as the traffic can approach quickly from the right as you leave.
The Executive Committee are delighted with the acquisition of these new waters and trust that you too will enjoy them in the coming season and in the future as we find out more about them and improve the accessibility in the years to come.
No parking on the Sandhurst Road / Yateley Road is permitted and anyone found to have parked on the verge will face disciplinary action. Please ensure that all gates are locked and secure before you leave the fishery.
