Our handbook runs from 1st April to 30th March every year, with all waters being closed on 31st March.
Farnham Angling Society handbooks do not cover a calendar year, they are not valid for 12-months once purchased and we do not sell part-season permits.
Anyone wishing to fish for Pike on FAS waters must attend a free Pike teach-in (the next one will likely be September 2023).
Now over 100 years old, Farnham Angling Society is one of the most successful angling societies in England. With membership averaging around 4,500 members and with 30 waters, we like to think part of our success is due to providing a great range of fishing for anglers of all classes, ages and abilities. Just look at what FAS offers you:
We accept Visa and Mastercard Credit Cards as well as the popular Visa, Mastercard and AMEX debit cards.
Visit Mick and Fran in person at our Membership Office based at Gold Valley, Gold Lane, Government Road, Aldershot, Hampshire GU11 2PT.
We would kindly like to ask people that they still wear face coverings at Gold Valley Tackle Shop. This is to help protect staff, including Mick and Fran, and customers who may have health concerns.
You can obtain your Handbook/Permit immediately.
Payment via cash, credit (not Amex card), debit card, cheque or postal order.
Please note: if applying at Gold Valley (opens this Friday an as shown below), or by post you will need:
1x photograph of each person if renewing a permit.
2x photographs of each application for new applications.

HOW TO ENTER
Before your friend submits their membership application form to FAS, either online, at our Membership Centre at Gold Valley or by post, make sure that you or your friend puts your name and your permit number on your friend’s application form.
All valid Join A Friend entries will be collected and a draw will take place at the AGM and the first three drawn out will receive complimentary permits for the following season.
Application forms can be obtained from ‘The FAS Membership Centre’ or here on the website, remember that you can enter as many times as you wish, and of course the more times you enter, the better your chances of winning !
