Our handbook runs from 1st April to 30th March every year, with all waters being closed on 31st March.

Farnham Angling Society handbooks do not cover a calendar year, they are not valid for 12-months once purchased and we do not sell part-season permits.

Anyone wishing to fish for Pike on FAS waters must attend a free Pike teach-in (Saturday 16th September, Sunday 24th September & Sunday 1st October).

Lapsed Membership:
The Society deems your membership to have lapsed, if you fail to renew for the next season by the 30th April.

Late Fee/Re-Joining Fee:

Existing 2022 – 2023 members renewing for the 2023 – 2024 season.

The Executive Committee have decided to end the suspension and reactivate the Late Fee and the Re-Joining Fees. So, for existing members that re-join for the coming season, please do so before 1st May to avoid any additional costs.

Guest Tickets:

The Society do not issue Day Tickets on any of our waters, although full Members are allowed to take 1 Guest on most venues for £15/rod Senior & £5.00 Junior for 24 Hrs, though night fishing is restricted to Members on certain venues.

As of 1st April 2023, Guest Tickets will not be available to be purchased between 1st January – 30th March each season.

Waters Open 16th June to 14th March

Frensham Great Pond, Frensham Little Pond, River Loddon (all sections), River Wey (all sections), River Whitewater (all sections), Tarn Pond.

All waters are closed on the 31st March each year.

Join Farnham Angling Society

Joining FAS is easy!

Joining Farnham Angling Society is as easy as clicking on the Membership Home Page and purchasing online. Alternatively you can visit the Membership Office at Gold Valley or apply in writing with a cheque or postal order by completing our Application Form.

Payment via Visa, Mastercard or AMEX. See note below regarding photographic requirements.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and trust you will understand that we have to look after our Membership Secretary and his wife, as both Mick & Fran are aged over 70, and we have to prioritise their health.

Join a Friend Scheme

If a current member introduces a new member to the society, he or she will be entered into a free draw to win a free permit for the following season, providing that the current member’s name and permit number are on the application form.

HOW TO ENTER

Before your friend submits their membership application form to FAS, either online, at our Membership Centre at Gold Valley or by post, make sure that you or your friend puts your name and your permit number on your friend’s application form.

All valid Join A Friend entries will be collected and a draw will take place at the AGM and the first three drawn out will receive complimentary permits for the following season.

Application forms can be obtained from ‘The FAS Membership Centre’ or here on the website, remember that you can enter as many times as you wish, and of course the more times you enter, the better your chances of winning !

You can obtain your Handbook/Permit immediately.

1x photograph of each person if renewing a permit.
